    ... so we could take a swim. It was after 5:00 by now so dogs were again allowed on the beach. We headed out into the waves with Harley right with us. He jumps the waves just like we did and doesn’t have any fear of them. He got one that washed over him and he just bobs up and keeps on going. I think he enjoyed it but we didn’t stay in too long because it was around high tide and it was a bit rougher than we cared for.

    The special for the day at Drunken Jack’s was fried catfish with a side of shrimp creole and corn fritters. That sounded too good to resist so I ordered it. Cheryl ordered a skewer of grilled shrimp with rice. The waitress said that they were local caught shrimp.

    When the food arrived Cheryl didn’t have any rice on her plate. She asked the waitress about it and was told that it may contain gluten, so no rice. ...

    Peggy wanted to see the student exhibit at the Horry Georgetown Technical College in Conway. That was our first stop. We then did a walking tour of the historic part of Conway. Conway does not contain as old buildings as Georgetown. It was still a nice quiet walk.
