  • It was a bit scary at first but exciting at the same time.
  • The only disadvantage was that we wouldn't be able to shower in the morning but we were okay with that because we would only be seeing each other.
  • We stopped off at 7:00 PM, watched a movie, and went to ...

Hiked a crazy river trail in the morning, made Rainy Pass at 5 pm and were driven in to a wonderful world. The World of the Waylands. Thanks so much guys, too kind. We will return to trail tomorrow morning and start our final approach to the finish line. Another 60.77 miles and we will reach a monument on a border. It is such a unique feeling to see the conclusion of something you have been working towards for so long. We have done it. We are doing it. We are ...

... experience. Another demanding 170 mile day on Saturday to Hermiston, Oregon on the banks of the mighty Columbia River and where the explorers Lewis and Clark spent some time. Stopped at the Grand Coulee Dam which is the largest Dam in the US, - huge!! We are staying at the Hat Rock Campground, quite unremarkable at first glance, but nicely treed for shade and grassy sites. Campgrounds and RV parks are more and more characterized by RULES. There are ...

... fuel filter and even changed the oil in the RV. Dave also puts in long miles driving to our new destinations. For some odd reason he is never eager to have me drive the RV.

We cook most of our meals, keeping a Vegan RV. I can whip up a very good meal in minutes. If we have power I can make a vegan crock -pot dish, leaving it while hiking the wilderness. We stop and buy fresh fruit and vegetables ...
