... experience. Another demanding 170 mile day on Saturday to Hermiston, Oregon on the banks of the mighty Columbia River and where the explorers Lewis and Clark spent some time. Stopped at the Grand Coulee Dam which is the largest Dam in the US, - huge!! ... home with open arms, warm smiles and delicious food. After we realised all of the kids were tobogganing down a concrete staircase out front of the cabin, we quickly moved onto our home for the holidays where we had a toboggan track right in the front yard (much safer than down the stairs). We enjoyed laughs around the fire watching the kids go crazy on the toboggan run until one in the morning. The girls had a blast and made some wonderful new friends.
