    • Stopped in Omak, Washington for gas and ended up just spending the night there.
    • It was dark so there was no point in going on site seeing.
    • Gas was $21.62 to go 116 miles.
    • We didn't feel like finding a camp ground to stay at, so we just slept in the camper in the middle of ...

Hiked a crazy river trail in the morning, made Rainy Pass at 5 pm and were driven in to a wonderful world. The World of the Waylands. Thanks so much guys, too kind. We will return to trail tomorrow morning and start our final approach to the finish line. Another 60.77 miles and we will reach a monument on a border. How absolutely surprising to not even be asked at check-in whether we had a dog, but to find large open spaces for play. Of greatest shock, however, was the written policy about washing cars and RV's - an infraction that in a lot parks will get you kicked out. This park's policy is "WASHING OF CAR OR RV IN CAMPGROUND ...

    Domestic Life On The Road

Everyday life on the road isn't always fun and games. We still have chores to do, just like at home.

Setting up camp can be time consuming. We have to pick a spot. Shady, level, hookups, no hookups, view, proximity to neighbors traveling with a kennel. All these considerations can be exhausting. Dave must maneuver the RV into the space, connect hose, plug in ...
