Sorry for the long time away from the blogs, but Wednesday and Thursday were pretty quiet and this weekend was almost entirely void of WiFi. So, time for another big 4 day round up. Got to Di and Michael's about 6ish on Wednesday, popped in to the takeaway for some chicken and chips on the way and just settled in for the night with the puppies Butters and Bo. It turns out that this is a site favoured by Aussies who are having homes built or renovated. It was right in ...

... sky high from nearly getting badly stuck but now I had to drive the massive tank!!! Thankfully it all went fine, we got to Nelson, had a bit of a stop then kept going following WikiCamps again. We couldn't get the van to the campsite as the road was too sandy and our van is not built for off road so we pulled up in the middle of a pine plantation for the night. Not the most luxurious of campsites but still, at least we could have a fire and ride the ...

... the cliffs and rocks! We crossed the border of Victoria and South Australia and made it to Mount Gambier pretty early evening and went to the 'Blue Lake.' It was amazing, like a huge crater in the ground and the bluest water I've ever seen! Definitely worth going to see if your driving along this way! We picked an old jail to stay for the night, it was eeery I'm not gonna lie but really nice hostel. Just a ...
