      ... an impressive 120 freightcars! Soon after we stopped at "Mangoos pizz" a for lunch. We continued and came to sandy hills with small grayish green bushes and soon saw something interesting...       ... into two, then we decided to stay a month so we were at Lone Wolf for over six weeks. This areas big claim to fame was that TV/movie husband and wife, Roy Rogers and Dale Evans lived here for many years. There was once a wonderful museum of memorabilia devoted to them, first in Apple Valley and then it moved to Victorville. I was fortunate enough to have visited both locations.
