We decided to head into Canada which was not part of our original itinerary but thats the beauty of making it up as you go along! Our first stop was the Canadian side of Niagara Falls. Today we got up and started making plans for the day. First up on the schedule- check out Niagara Falls in the daylight. On the way we stopped for breakfast at, drum roll please, Tim Horton's of course. The Falls were amazing in the daylight. We took a few pictures then made our way to Hornblower Niagara Cruises to take a trip to the Falls. Maid of the Mist does the cruise from the American side and Hornblower does them from the Canadian side. They just take turns ...
... we were on completely separates the lakeside from the rest of the city. What a waste! It seems there is an architect with a monopoly in Toronto because the mass of skyscrapers are all the same grey steel and dark glass. There are kilometres of them and many are within metres of the freeway. Still, it's a city that always rates highly on liveability scales so maybe it's better from ground level. ... fury and the white water walk, a two day bus pass, as well as several other discounts. Thinking we will run out of time we go trailhead off to do watch the niagara fury. Niagara fury is a 4D film. We are given ponchos. We go into one room and watch a short children's movie about Niagara Falls and how it was formed and how much it has eroded since, and than we go into another room where we stand on a platform in the middle of a circular room and the screens go all the way ...

After dinner we hit the Casino. Amy won CAD100 very quickly on her slot machine
We had a really good run on our cherry machine for about 1 hour on CAD 20. Such fun
Purchased our magnets and chrome figurine Chef Bottle Holder on our way back to the Hotel. Cost USD40. Nice memento of our perfect road trip.
