Falling for Niagara

Wow the falls are incredible! It's a shame about the town that has been built up around it which looks like a theme park! We avoided that and took a leisurely stroll along the river bank, Byron got technical again with our camera, which you will all agree is worth freezing for when you view the accompanying pics! Fact of the day: Niagara Falls has moved back 7miles over the past 12,500 years, it continues to move ...

Check us out in our blue ...

We started at the whirlpool which is a huge eddy of water on a bend of the Niagara River, then off to the falls for a boat ride. The boat goes right up to the American ...

... br> Following the tour we set off for our hotel. On route a desperate looking Indian couple on the tour sort my help with a crying little girl. I'd assumed she was their child but she was actually their niece who they hadn't seen in two years and who clearly wasn't too sure of her long lost aunt and uncle who had plucked her from her familiar parents and Jersey for an overnight trip to Niagara. For reasons unknown she seemed to have concluded I was a safer bet and ...
