We stopped by here just north of Ithaca, NY, on the shores of the largest of the Finger Lakes, Cayuga Lake to hike the trail to the falls. About 1.5 mile round trip and worth it. Heading back to Milford, where Jack is close to, we stayed at Cortland. On the way there we called into a beautiful spot where there is a waterfall that dates back to the end of the ice age. These falls have eroded the gorge 1000M approx into the hillside since then. The walk is flat and takes only 15 minutes to reach the water fall, a beautiful walk surrounded by shale slopes growing lots of trees.
