    ... entrance under the shade. Around noon we headed out to do some wine tasting around Seneca lake. It was a bit nostalgic for me cause we were last here on my birthday a few years back on a trip with my brother to cheer him on during the Wine glass marathon...that was one of my favorite birthday weekends!     We got up early and packed the RV up....which sounds simpler than it is, not complicated, but you got to secure everything down, crank down the TV antenna, unhook the water line, unplug the electric hookup, drain your tanks...this site had a sewer hookup right at the campsite. Couple more days of this and it will just be routine! Questions I ask these days are..."do the water pumps get their power from the battery or the propane when we aren't plugged ...

    We have certainly had better days!

    ... night however we did get a 'phone call from the garage to say it would be checked first thing in the morning and we would be updated then. A caravan yard with over one hundred travel trailers, campers, fifth wheelers and motor homes of all sizes isn't too bad a place to stop and have a wander if you are interested in camping. Only the new motorhomes were locked so we were able to wander in and out giving our opinion as we went. Next morning we did receive the promised ...

    ... Tom, Ian, Emily and I opted for the longer walk. It had a lovely view. It was also nice to have a decent walk after being on the bus. It was very warm and very humid. After the walk we went down to the lake and had a swim, the weather had improved and it was sunny, but the lake was really cold! Had a nice swim though, and the played frisbee with the group.     ... of Canadian Geese as we traveled the canal.

    Since it is only the two of us, we both have to drive the boat. I have to say that I truly enjoyed the opportunity of moving her along the canal, but you do have to keep your "eyes on a swivel" due to the recent flooding on the canal causing an excessive amount of logs and debris to be floating along with you.
