Bob went back for another round of golf this morning. Three days on the trot!!! Today he went around in 87. He must really like this course. Harriet and I went out to a place called The Girls. From the outside it looks like a very quirky little café. Inside it is decorated in a very old fashioned almost 1950s style with lots of "stuff" hanging from the ceiling etc. They have their own jams and goodies on sale. Then ...

Dec 19th

Okay everyone! Honesty time! I have not looked at my travel blog or written point form notes for over 2 weeks. That means everything is a big blur! It also means my posts for this time are going to be short and sweet because remembering stuff that happened 2 weeks ago is hard. Just remembering where I slept 2 nights ago is hard! What a life!

Its a stretch of rivers canals and bays that runs down the east coast the the states. Cant remember how far but its something like 1000 or 1500nm. We wont be going on it that long. Just to fort Lauderdale. Our jump off point for the Bahamas.

It wasnt long into the day when the rain started. Just a bit.

... day spent swimming and soaking up the Caribbean sun. The last stop of our first week at sea was Half Moon Cay, a private island owned by the HAL cruise line. All their Caribbean cruises stop here for passengers to spend a day on a gorgeous white sand beach and enjoy the water and a beach barbecue. We soaked in the clear blue water, ate barbecue and spent the afternoon drowsing in a beach hammock. It's a Caribbean lifestyle!

Holy Cow ... It's Hot!

A travel blog entry by john.jan.pei on Mar 24, 2013

When your not used to it, the heat that is, it's Hot. It's 5:00 pm and it is 31, but feels like 38! Here's a picture from our deck! Did a little bit of shopping, got some great deals, and the only reason for not going to the beach for Margarita's and Jello Shots is that it is really windy, so not a beach day! Cheers to one and all! ...
