Somewhere between Jordan and Circle Mt we stopped to help a young couple who had their hood up. They asked if we could give them a jump, I told them we only had. 6 volts and asked them if there was anything else we could do, when they said no, I told them to get a Ford, then I noticed they had a one, so I told them to get an older Ford. ... br> Along the way to Havre, we saw buffalo, elk (or some sort) and a coyote circling some cows -- with trouble on his mind....

The border crossing is called Wild Horse Crossing. I didn't see any wild horses trying to get into USA from Canada. Must have been something they did years ago (but regained their senses).

We are now in Glasgow which doesn't quite make up for missing the trip to Glasgow, Scotland but it is nice here.

"If you breakdown in Culbertson, it becomes a community event..and will end up in the newspaper," so says mobile mechanic Shawn. And he was correct. Four other mechanics plus the cafe owner stopped by to see our odyssey. Napa Parts IS the hub of this town! I pulled off Hwy 16 for a quick potty break...and within 2 minutes black smoke billowed out from the wall behind ...

... not sure how they round the trout up, or how they brand them!!!) this is a great place. On the Boulder River, which feeds the Yellowstone River, and nowhere near a hiway or rail line. We had a nice steak dinner and ate yogurt and strawberry parfaits over by the river, in fact, I am sitting here by the river writing this update. After the stressful day of watching the temperature gauge on the transmission and worrying that all the hills would push it up ...
