... too cold where every body part hurt so we called it quits early. We found out that Heavenly closed early too because of the conditions. Our plan was to take Jalen to see fireworks at Heavenly village on NYE but we cut the trip short and left NYE because of the horrible weather. It is way to cold, highs of 18. Jalen played a few minutes in the snow but not long because his face turned red. He really did enjoy the snow and kicking it and throwing it. He will have a blast in ...

... t remember seeing any of my previous trips here. The river was mostly dry, but otherwise a decent small river walk. We went in a few casinos and looked for some food, but the lines and prices were pretty ridiculous as most of them were geared towards thanksgiving feast buffets. Our time here was quite short and I guess a bit disappointing, but I got the pictures I wanted. My previous trips here were before the age of digital cameras and I had ...

... Home made nibbles and mimosas after the service were a welcome treat. A jaunt around the lake and back the the house in Carson to change for dinner. Dinner tonight was to be with new friends back in South Lake Tahoe and another amazing spread prepared by Mary Ann, semi professional singer and master chief. Ham, turkey, sweet potato biscuits, pineapple and sweet potato bake followed by America's best cheesecake...... What an amazing ...

Jalen's 1st trip to tahoe was horrible. We went through a timeshare offer and the resort was so bad we left 1 day early! We saw our presentation which was horrible experience and checked out early. The room was small, dingy and so outdated. No AC as well and it was hot. We went to the Lake which was nice and Jalen dipped his feet in for the 1st time. He wasn't a fan because it was too cold. ...

... rest points along the California Trail which was the route most travellers took prior to the completion of the Transcontinental Railway. I was really bored by this time and even the rest areas signs took on their own humour.

No soliciting in a rest area, what will they think of next?

We travelled through Carson City which is where the Cartwright boys always seemed to be riding on Bonanza to visit the Marshall. I'm not sure how ...
