      ... in a kayak. I loved it but I think it was a bit slow for Glens liking. But he said he enjoyed it. We went out for a few coldies at the Brewery, nice little pub down the road.       • today I got to see how people in Truckee celebrate the 4th of July. It was a blast! the parade was very impressive with the high school marching band and the floats from the sorts of different clubs or programs form the town. I found out afterword's that there is a big grand prize for whoever wins.

      ... edge of a ridge with steep cliffs down to water on both sides! It was also quite icy so when we got to Emerald Cove we decided to stop to see what we could see. What a view, very Queenstownesque. We walked the one mile down to the cove (watching all the moaning and complaining families coming up!!!) and then the one mile back up (hopefully not looking as bad as the other families!)
