    ... where've 'ya been, where 'ya
    headed, then offer us a cold one. We talk for a while before breaking loose to set up camp. One couple is from Grande Prairie, AB, the other from Medicine Hat, AB. They are here with their kids and grandkids enjoying their vacation during the Canada Day celebration.

    In fact, lots of families are enjoying their vacation here. The weather is hot once again so the hot springs pool and surrounding grassy area ...

    ... at a UNESCO site and spent a long time goes through the fabulous museum and walked up to the actual buffalo jump. If one enjoys archeology, and we do, it is a great place. There are artifacts dating back 9,000 years.

    We continued to drive and drive, went through customs without a problem. Chaco was very proud to show off her "pet pass port" :) All is good.

    ... 10 miles within the park and right before we got there, a big moose was along the roadway looking for something to pictures of him didn't come out very good, but we were real close to him. He is the first moose we've seen on our trip.

    Had an early night as we want to get an early start as we head to Idaho/Washington in the morning.

    ... postcards. Everything sold in there was Canadian, of course.

    Got back to town around was a long day and it's hot in Radium Hot Springs --- high 90's again and this will continue. On our way through town, there were a couple of big horned sheep laying in the center of town. You would have thought they were statutes if you didn't know better. They are frequent visitors in town.

    We passed through the town of Whitefish, MT which is pretty modernized, but with the old western character still visible throughout the town.
