      ... we could see where heavy guards gates and houses hidden behind trees. But the tour itself, and seeing where some of the most famous people in the world call home.. Is awesome!! I definatley recommend it.

      Also on the tour we cruised down Sunset Strip and seen the infamous Viper Room, owned by Johnny Depp, the place River Pheonix died. Whiskey-a-go-go, and The Beverley Hills Hotel.

      We farewelled some of the people we met before leaving the ship. It wasn't until we reached the port to collect our baggage that we realised that Celebrity had delivered the wrong baggage tags to us. Instead of giving us "1", they gave us "18".       ... running tracks along the Rim Trail which follows the canyon edge for mile on mile. After lunch and a shower, we hit the road again, picking up our bikes (with shiny new chains, cassettes, brake pads and jockey wheels) from Flagstaff, grabbing a coffee, checking the distance to Bakersfield using the cafe wifi - 482 miles! - and deciding that if we wanted to make that by tonight (it was already 2:20pm) we would need to motel it rather than camp.       ... to eat it and the look on the faces on the people sitting next to us told me i was crazy if I did. I held my ground and ate 2 pieces the smallest I could find, just to show them I wasnt scared. ( if I get sick later you all know who to blame) After 4 hours of waiting we boarded the next flight.       ... but we were also encouraged to walk around and find our own ideas and angles. Next we went to Makapu’u Point lookout, a coastal lookout below Makapu’u and then to Waimanalo Bay. We then drove down a street with a view of of the Ko’olau Mountains before heading to breakfast in Kailua at Kalapawai Market.
