      ... our batteries, caught up
      with the laundry (well Margaret did), I played a little music and annoyed the
      other campers.

      The nights
      were cold temperatures getting down to -4C, the heater in the RV keeping us
      nice and toasty though.

      The Jellystone Park was quiet at this time of the year, but I can imagine during the holidays that it would be teaming with children riding the water slides, swimming in the pool, going on ...

      ... was the fastest and highest flying manned aircraft in the world throughout its career. Most importantly, it looks cool. So we spent a bit of time ooh-ing and aah-ing before actually entering into the battleship site. The ship itself was fantastic; it would have taken at least 4 hours to explore it comprehensively, and several pages to describe it all here. Highlights included the doctor's and dentist's offices, the minor surgery room and sick bay (surprise, surprise); ...

      ... learned that Mobile receives more rainfall than any other city in the lower 48-states! Interestingly, though, we enjoyed beautiful sunny weather during our week-long stay! We were also blessed to have the chance to visit with one of our Peace Corps Volunteers from our service time in Jamaica. We had lunch together at a local Jamaican restaurant called Jamaican Vibes. We have thoroughly enjoyed our time in fascinating Mobile, Alabama.

      ... we could go to the USS Alabama today and drive back to Biloxi tomorrow then we would drive further on Sunday and Monday to still arrive in DeLand on Monday, just a little later than earlier than planned. The campgound is an older one and the interior roads are a little narrow. We had to unhook the car before we could get into our site, plus we had to back into the site, but we got in, hooked up and then went to the USS Alabama ...
