Big, big weekend coming up! … to go along with the last few days!!!!
Nice, nice three mile walk for me yesterday along Fisherman’s Wharf and in downtown Monterey. Took some photos of the wharf and also, the barking sea lions. (By the way, we can hear the sea lions barking from the house.) During the walk on the wharf, saw some kayakers who stopped to watch some sea lions and birds on a rock near the wharf.

... Fall Bridge was the target. Steep. A good word that describes a walk that is just an angle away from climb. This was very steep. Although it was only 0.80 mile, it felt like 20 minutes on a step machine. The views however, were breathtaking. When we got to the bridge below the falls, we asked a large Dom Jolly Lookalike to take our group picture. ... at this location was because we had wanted to experience California Route 1 from San Simeon to Monterey. The first bit of road north of our hotel was easy and we stopped for a few minutes at the Elephant Seal Viewing Area to watch all of the (smelly) male seals posturing for a spot on the sand.
