Off with the cami and on with the short pants. It was a warm sunny day for driving north to Mullaway yesterday. We spent about six hours on the road. The road is gradually improving but there were still plenty of roadworks to negotiate.

Had a super big breakfast :) then we left the hotel at 7.30am with Mya as my coach buddy. Made the long drive to Coffs Harbour for surf camp. We stopped off for lunch at Port Macquarie which is beautiful and apparently has an average temperature of 25 degrees all year round! It was 29 degrees today so me, Ann, Mya and Claire grabbed lunch at the supermarket and ate on the grass by the harbour.

It was our second morning in Helen. I woke up in my smaller bed but still managed to get an full nights sleep; I guess I've just got used to sleeping in hostels so this is luxury. We left the camp site and journeyed up to Coffs Harbour. It was only about an hour away so it was a short drive for the day. We turned up to the weirdest camp site. It was all based on Holland. ... boogie board. Walked the Main Street of Sawtell and had lunch at a burger bar - not bad! After some shopping in the main street of Coffs we headed for the F1 cart track. Some friendly competition was had between Steve, Warwick and Andrew with Aaron being non too shabby around the track either! Only one spin off the track.
