We went to Cripple Creek for diner, gambling, and a cabaret which spoofed lake wobegonn in a western setting. I spent an extra day as the weather was unsettled to the east.
I am now in mid-southern Kansas.
Lots of corn fields, grain fields, oil fields, wind farms, dairy and feed lots.

Our moods are still pleasant after 4 nights. Ok really I got mad cause somebody used the iPad and erased all my bookmarks....then the next day they miraculously appeared again....had to apologize.

I also got mad at Verizon cause we are on our 2nd day of the billing cycle and were reported to use 50%25 of our data already.....yep, had to calm down on that one too. Rylynn was using Jango for live music streaming and I was constantly using the iPad for maps and places to ...

At the suggestion on a blog that I read of another RVer we decided to drive through Kansas, which we hadn't been through before, and stop at Fort Larned. It is a well-preserved fort that was occupied during the Civil War but the troops sent there were never engaged in the war because they were too far west.
