    The Monterey Bay Aquarium – it was a greatly anticipated highlight of our cross-country trip, and it was as good as I hoped!     ... to drive through the Mohave Desert. It was really hot, up to 112. The kids are excited to go home, so all our stops are quick. Sean is talking about how excited he is to start Kindergarten again. We didn't have any luck finding Delaware and West Virgina, so we ended up with 48.
