After breakfast and bike riding around the campground loop, we drove into Hannibal, the town where Samuel Langhorn Clemens (Mark Twain) spent his childhood years. We ate at the Mark Twain diner (where the kids enjoyed homemade root beer!), then walked up 244 stairs to see a lighthouse perched on the side of a hill.
