      ... little town, very quaint. The drive there followed the river along the base of the valley. It is also home to a woollen mill that, earlier this year, won a tourism award. When we got there Mike Wittney and his film crew were filming it for an episode of "Sydney Weekender". Another 'gate crash' moment... We chose not to be part of the episode but watched them do the filming (takes and retakes galore) and then later, had a chat to him.

      ... to Albury. A big regional city. We did drive past the Golden Guitar which the children thought "was not really gold and not very big compared to the sheep". There was also a statue of Slim Dusty and Joy McKean in the mall but unfortunately we didn't have the camera on us so missed the photo ...

      ... and just go into Mini Palms Gorge but we decided that we better not and it's probably gated off anyway, so we decided to do the 2.2km walk into the Homestead Valley. It was a nice walk, but a long one. It's was nice at the end but when we have seen so many spectacular sights already, sadly this didn't have as big of an impact as it should have. By the time we walked back to the car, it was about 4:00pm and we needed to head back to the caravan park before it got too dark, so we ...

      ... us, as she came back the air conditioner suddenly cut in. She had ten dollars in her hand and was prepared to give us a refund for our troubles, we declined as it was just one of those things and she had gone out of her way. Sadly I can't rate her on this sight but she should be up there with the best, as she had provided true service!

      As for tomorrow ,the aim is to hit the Gold Coast, as we have to collect Indiah for our trip north!

      ... evening our caravan park showed the movie, Sapphires, we both really enjoyed it and will be buying the sound track. We walked in Mirima Nap Park with small Bungle Bungles.
      We had a lovely free camp beside the Ord R and today, at Halls Creek, we drove to Caroline Pool and beautiful quiet spot, to Wall of China, and to Old Halls Creek. Windy and dusty here, so will be happy to move on ...
