Some of you may know that we got some very sad and sudden news that Graeme's youngest sister (only 52) passed away from a clot on the lung. Jude was such a lovely and caring person and made me feel very welcome to the family. We met during a few ...

Today we left Lake Macquarie after five great days, a final goodbye to Graeme and Sal and we headed up the New England for Tamworth. Was great to catch up with them and share stories and adventures. Could have stayed well into the night but we knew from the yawns all round that it was over at 9.30pm. Got back to the motel and watched a bit of Friday night footy (as in the good stuff - AFL) to close out the night.

    Day 14

A travel blog entry by zacaw on Apr 19, 2014

This morning when we woke up it looked like it was still night because there was tiny little holes in the tent and when the sun came through it made them look like stars. I spotted Orion and the Southern star. :) Today before we left for Halls Creek we went on a boat trip along the Fitzroy River. We saw our first crocodile, luckily it was a freshwater not a saltwater. I'll tell you the difference soon. After the ...
