... We watched the Dolphins and their trainers do all sorts of tricks. Unfortunately we couldn't take any photos their performances. Caught up with the gang after they had dinner. I didn't want to eat before big road trip. We went on the Ferris Wheel. The views of the city at night were fantastic. Photos didn't do it justice. We are leaving at 6am tomorrow to head for Orlando......8 hr drive. May stop off somewhere if we get tired! Off to ...

... You could drink as much as you wanted. We received a small glass bottle of Coke to take with us......Ged saves old glass Coke bottles so I will take it home for him. Finally arrived back at the hotel and had a shower and a nanny nap. Tanya rang and they were going to dinner....did I want to go too? Caught the shuttle to Max Larger, a local restaurant. Enjoyed a nice pork chop dinner! Great company and then home to ...

When we pulled up to ...

... since there were 10 buses of school age children descending on the park also. They had taken a DUKW ride and now they all had those little duck bill whistles and they are noisy little things!

By now you may be asking yourselves "What in the name is a DUKW?" Well they are WW II amphibian utility vehicles. The DUWK is a "name" given them by the military and stands for D=made in 1942; U=utility; K=front wheel drive; W=6 wheel dual driving axles. They ...

... Savannah - again, we had visited last year and were very happy to be back and to show our American friends one of their Cities. It's full of impressive achitecture and many, many leafy parks with trees hanging in Spanish Moss - it is a beautiful place and has a good riverfront too, full of bars, restaurants and shops. It's a real favourite with us. Azalea time of year, the City gave us an added bonus. An American Chef called ...
