The temperatures in the day have been very hot and beautiful sunny skies. The nights outside however, we are now realising, are freezing! I was so cold all night that I could barely sleep. After packing up we drove round to the nearest town on the lake and bought a cheap duvet to go over our sleeping bags. We also stocked up on a few more last minute supplies we had forgotten about before we drove along the lake some more.

We found out where they hang out during the day and that prompted us to brave the hot temperatures, jungle trails, a steep hike and huge spiders to find them.
