Middle of nowhere...pretty spooky no ranger, no campground host, no information or directions posted except don't shoot your guns and keep your dog on a leash. So we stayed couldn't figure out where or pay or how much so Grady asked another camper and they said they thought it was free. The camp was called water canyon and was next to an observatory. No complaints they had clean bathrooms and everything worked out ...

... Flats, or the remnants of a lake which once was a mighty 1600mile2 lake. Andreas especially enjoyed this. He was like a puppy with boundless energy running up and then down dunes . Patrick followed suit from time to time but he snot as light footed as his brother and found this type of exercise much harder. Not to mention the parents who only walked and trudged up and down the dunes. In the national park handout this walk was labelled strenuous and ...

... odds are she will not be attending Tech due to the fact she had 7 other schools on her list of "maybes"!

After our lunch, my mom and I got into our rental car and drove west towards Arizona. We did not know how far we would get today so we had no hotel reservations, which seemed to be an okay strategy seeing we had no trouble finding any in the town of Holbrook. Once we arrived in Holbrook, we realized ...
