We're still enjoying the Monterey Bay area -- yesterday we were at the southern end in Monterey and today at the northern end in Santa Cruz. Both were interesting towns -- beachy, boaty, touristy, and trafficy with the striking natural beauty of the Pacific coastline. While driving to Monterey we drove by a big strawberry farm with migrant workers picking the berries -- ymmm! As you can see in the picture, they even have ...

There was not a hope in hell that I was going to last another night in Yosemite.. As waking up during the night I thought I was going to be frozen to the van! restaurants on the wharf and checked out all the boats in the marina. Then it was on to Cannery Row Brewing Co and
a cold brew. We finished the day with
dinner at a local fish house. The next

... to make a drink for each of us. There's free tea and coffee down on the ground floor, and some tables and chairs. We're on the 4th floor. I talked on the phone with Chris, and discussed the possibility of us coming down on the Caltrain tomorrow. He's going to get back to us about that. After unpacking our gear, we walked firstly to have a look where the coin laundromat is - it's up the street and around the corner a couple of blocks - quite steep streets so ...
