Wow, I can't believe how soon this trip has come to a close! We will be sleeping in our own beds by tomorrow night! ... security. Not much of a walk to the gate. Our flight made a stop in Atlanta, and then onwards to Huntsville. The airport in Huntsville is actually pretty fabulous. I believe they re-modeled the entire thing not too long ago, or at least part of it. It's very open, light, spacious, and the architecture is nice. Curbside to gate is a breeze. There are only 10 or so gates. There is a market/deli once you pass through security. If you want to sit and eat, try the grill just before security. ...

... Andrew has been camping since he was about four months old. We travel cheap and we travel far. My 4 year-old son has been to almost every state in America and more foreign countries than most Americans his age or my age. I think there has been a real benefit to it for the boy. He knows his stuff and, this may be the proud parent in me talking, I challenge any other preschooler to a geography challenge. My boy will wipe the floor with your kid!
