... And so, the word for today is WATER. I began this blog with water in Niagara Falls and I am coming to a conclusion with water in the bayou. Seems fitting.

The trees began to look familiar, southern yellow pine, live oak, cypress and I don't know what else. And palm trees. In Baton rouge we saw palm trees, so we knew we were nearing home. We crossed the Mississippi River just before we arrived in Baton Rouge and it was filled with working docks ...

Already hot and windy on the ground in Fort Pierce, there were some cumulus with moderate vertical development evident to the north, visible even from the ground. ... of California. 85 oF at 10:30 a.m. in the sunshine state. WE are listening to some podcasts that Clarence downloaded. Today's case was about the mating habits of crickets. Kinda funny. Who needs audio books. Hee hee! I am thinking that the fencing that I am seeing on the side of the road is probably there for a reason. I am thinking it maybe to prevent gator roadkill! The weather report has been announcing a storm heading for Myrtle Beach Florida by Saturday. ...
