Disneyland day 1! This was such an amazing day, with so much to see and do, it is really quite hard to put it all in a short blog post, so I will list some of the highlights. It was a gorgeous day, perfect blue sky, we caught the shuttle bus to Disneyland and arrived just after opening at 10 am. There was a photo opportunity every couple of meters! Anyway, the Little Mermaid Ride was in Paradise Pier, which I think was our favourite land in the park. It was themed around seaside piers like Santa Monica Pier and had lots of fairground-style rides like Mickey’s Fun Wheel, the giant ferris wheel that is the icon of the park, and Goofy’s Sky School, which – Berries! – is very similar to Primeval Whirl in Disney World!

... 10 min or so. Toon Town is something that def would appeal more the children, but again, the buildings and surroundings were pretty interesting. We didn't do much here other then walk around for 5 min and try to keep dry.
