... list of the top 164 things to do with kids in Vegas (printed from Trip Advisor back in Brisbane) and decided to go to the Fremont Street Experience, a free light show in “old” Vegas, which involved a slow drive about 7 miles down the other end of the Strip. We found a parking garage easily and walked around the corner to Fremont Street, which, for several blocks, is covered by a canopy roof. There were plenty of people around (including several ...
Las Vegas, Nevada, United States ozmumgoesus... merely...disappears. It's quite fascinating. I wonder if they conduct tryouts.
Needless to say, after a few late nights, long days of learning and laying out in the sun, and some men hunting escapades, we were ready to leave after our five day stint. I couldn't imagine being there any longer than we were. Unless I had a few thousand dollars, then I think Las Vegas might be one of the greatest places in the US.
... to Todai, another buffet, but a few of us were sick of the gorgefests. So instead, we went to a Vietnamese restaurant located in Chinatown (if you could even call it that, it was just a handful of Asian stores and restaurants in a strip mall).
The menu listed a cherimoya shake - excitedly, I ordered it, since I had not had it since this past Christmas' trip to South America (http://www.travelpod.com/travel-photo/ pwong/7/1230691320 ...
... decided when 1 of the girls opened her bra up. She had pasties on but it was enough to see her take the $1k and give Whitney 2nd. We headed back to Vegas about an hour later and it was dark by then. The city lit up looked amazing! Next door to the Hotel was a pub called McMullards which was an Irish pub... we stopped off in there for a drink and low and behold... CARLSBERG on TAP!!!! I had found my home! The casinos could wait, I had found a pub in America that ...

One aspect that is definitely different from my last voyage is the amount of planning I need to put into this one. Not only am I on a limited timeline, and a very restricting budget, but cities are spaced so far apart that I can't just hop around as I please. I've had to determine ...
Las Vegas, Nevada, United States canadianjulie... on to the interstate was bumper to bumper, finally picking up speed once fully in to the desert. As we left the huge amounts of traffic, we realised that a lot of the slowness was due to a huge lineup for the drive-thru at the last Macca's for many many miles! The drive was very average, although the highway snakes up and over the mountains and it was here we saw our first snow. We stopped off at a real American diner for lunch and shortly after entered Nevada. There was no big sign or ...
Las Vegas, Nevada, United States danfa... s Eleven hotellissa eli Bellagiossa katsomassa Cirque de Soleilin esityksen jonka nimi oli O. Siis oo! Aivan uskomaton show. Kaikenlaista olen ...
Las Vegas, Nevada, United States sidi... some of the old casinos like Golden Nugget where I lost $1 on poker but gained an amaretto and coke. A brief ride back to Bellagio and we watched a few fountain shows - My heart will go on, and an Italian opera style song. It started to get windy so they began to cancel the fountain performances.
At this time we were going to go up the Eiffel tower, but of course, it was closed due to high winds. Instead we went to the casino ...
... at some of the big mansions of Bel Air and Beverly Hills - not a bad neighbourhood!! Had a wander around Venice beach which was a tad tacky, saw the 'gym' of muscle beach but no Arnie working out which was a bit unfortunate. Watched Los Angeles Angels in a ball game with the Arizona Diamonbacks that went to the 15th inning before a result which was pretty exciting - it was difficult not letting dad know i had tickets to see the Diamondbacks and San Francisco Giants for Monday ...
