For the past week I've been hearing Will Smith's song - I'm Going to MIami. But instead of MIami, I hear: I'm going to Vancouver, Vancouver, Vancouver. I'm going to Vancouver....

I know - it's the opposite direction and generally much cooler. It would be funnier if I actually knew the song. But that's what was in my head.

The days before I left I was feeling hugely anxious. I would forget ...

After a shuttle that took us over an hour to get from the airport, we had finally made it to our hotel, right on the Chicago River. It's a great central spot close to nearly everything. The Sweetwater Tavern and Grill was recommended to us by the concierge, that came with a discount voucher (not complaining!) So excited to take in the whole experience we arrived at the stadium early at 11am for a scheduled 1:20pm start. The stadium was a short 30 minute ride from our hotel on the metro's red line. Once again I'm reminded how amazing the London underground is (Friends in England i know we all complain but trust ...

Ahhh...finally we're at our hotel. What a long day! 24 hours and 3 flights.

We painlessly collected our luggage and headed off to find where to collect our rental car and find our hotel. We had very makeshift directions on how to get from the airport to our hotel. After a bit of kerfuffle and indecision about where we were actually supposed to catch the shuttle bus, we eventually found it. Turns out the company we had booked the ...
