Not on here much....but much has happened since my last entry so here is a quick update....
On 6/14/2011 Charmaine had to under go surgery for a meningioma tumor which was benign, but never the less required 38 staples to hold her head together. She survived it through the Graces of our good Lord. We feel very loved by our God.
on 2/10/2014 Charmaine became a citizen of the USA!

... our accomodation, by this time we were able to check in. We got ourselves settled in and then got ready to head to Chicago's 16th Annual Ribfest.Ribfest is a rib festival that celebrates all the different styles of ribs from different regions. The street was lined with a heap of rib vendors. There were also vendors for other types of meats, foods and plenty of deep fried sweats. The festival runs all weekend with live entertainment and arcade games ...
... while we decided what to do for the rest of the afternoon. Food incidentally, ended up being the world famous Billy Goats Cheezborger Cheezborger Cheezborger. Not really sure how famous they really are, but they were delicious.

... pretty much it. I was also quite surprised to see advertising carved into the Ivy of the outfield wall. People had a big enough fit when they finally installed lights to enable night games in 1988. I can't imagine what happened when ivy was torn out.
