Drove from Pittsburgh to Bucknell. Although the way we stopped at State College and drove through the Penn State campus....which is huge. Beaver Stadium is easier the largest stadium that I've seen. Before taking the tour, we had lunch in Lewisburg - which is a town of 6000 that connects with Bucknell. It's a very small town! There was no game going on this day but the area was still busy with people visiting the museum.

We drove around the area ...

We just spent 20 minutes looking for a book that is key to the trip and we were both SURE we had brought, but we're beginning to doubt ourselves. Found it eventually, and now I feel much better. Until I can't ...

... as we crossed into Maryland. We finally had a Cracker Barrell experience today at lunch. I had crusty grilled trout with lemon, sweet potatoes, crunchy broccoli and moist flaky buttermilk tea biscuits slathered with lots of butter. Yummy! For supper, Janet and I tried Perkins restaurant in Hazleton, PA. I had Tuscan chicken with sundries tomatoes, feta cheese and ...
