After a busy week in Canberra, we headed off for Jindabyne. We weren’t expecting to see snow this time of year, but thought it might be nice to go inland for a change instead of along the coast. Along the way, we knew we were headed for snow country when we saw an abundance of shops selling snow gear along the Snowy Mountain Highway before crossing the bridge over the Snowy River!
... the last peak to climb, and was 1614m high, then we had a much easier run through beautiful country roads to Jindabyne.

I managed to get myself back to Schipol Airport, Amsterdam via train on Tuesday morning after a great night in Amsterdam City. The 12 hour flight from there was not much fun at all however old mate sitting next me said I could have the window seat which was originally his seat. alpine diesel. I had already had a discussion with the Bunkhouse owner who said
his diesel had clouded the night before so I was keen to put as much of the
alpine stuff in the tank as possible. We found a Woolworths service station

Had a disturbed night due to the pain from my fall yesterday, but despite that, the Edmundson VC Rest Area was a really good spot to stay and no doubt we will return sometime.
Woke about 7.20AM to peace and quite, layed in bed till 8AM then attempted to get out of bed. Initially my leg was stiff and sore but once I got moving it wasnt to bad.
