9 days in the roasting sun and not even the beginning of a tan. No one will believe we were here. I even stopped wearing sunscreen hoping for a bit of colour. No luck. I will try surrounding myself with tin foil today. This is absurd. We will try to ride the monorail today. I'd love to ride the steamboat, but I don't know where it goes. No time for that. Maybe when I retire here. We will try to get good viewing spots for ...

... accompanied it with a bottle of Mark West Pinot Noir, a lovely California wine that we plan to look up when we get home. We walked through the West side for a bit and then joined up with Dave, Lorrie and Jasmine, along with Dave's family, in the Marketplace at the big bandstand. We all managed to wake up by 10 and head to Downtown
Disney to meet cousin Kyle and his wife Tricia for a fabulous lunch at
Splitsville bowling alley. We waited for
Kyle by walking around the Westside area.
We even saw some OTTERS in the water playfully splashing around!! The food at Splitsville was great and the conversation
was wonderful. It was so nice to spend
time with Kyle and his wife. They ...

So there is four parks at Disney world, Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom and Hollywood studios, then the water parks and the two golf courses and allot of resorts, then Downtown Disney which is home to shops , restaurants, clubs and theatres. You have to swipe your card and put your fingerprint in this machine so ...

Ended up getting in to Orlando late due to the afternoon storms that are pretty frequent in this area. Spent almost an hour in a holding pattern then another 20 mins on the tarmac because the ground crew were not allowed out due to lightening strikes. Grabbed a cab to our retro accommodation, Cabana Bay Resort, which has only been open 4 months or so. Very cool facility, and huge. We grabbed dinner at the poolside bar and watched a little TV in our room before finally getting to ...
