... When we pulled up to the entry point in the river we had a quick introduction to what we actually had to do and all that jazz and then it was time to get onto the river. As soon as we entered the river we were basically going straight away having to paddle and what not. Got on the road this morning about 9:45 due to some paperwork and household issues. Nice day of riding down US 72 across north Mississippi and Alabama and on into Chattanooga arriving at Davied's about 5:30 local time (Eastern time zone). Stopped for gas twice on way over and had lunch in Decatur, AL. Weather was pretty nice with some clouds and temps in the upper 80s and lower 90s. Not perfect but much better than the upper 90s ...
Cassie flew in from Palm Beach, but didn't get to Atlanta until late at night

Got lost trying to find our car - Scary!
Ended up getting Steak and Shake
Drove to Cloudland Canyon and went camping with Alicia and Matt

We met up with our 10K camping friends for the final stop on our trip. We shared stories from our recent trip and enjoyed hearing about everyone else's adventures.
We did a morning walk on several hiking trails at the Chickamauga Battlefield to mix a little history in with our exercise.
Enjoyed Point Park with a group from 10K and then all met up later that evening to visit.
