    ... just one of the non-native species to invade the Everglades. There's a huge problem with people releasing unwanted tropical pets like snakes & turtles which upset the natural balance of nature. As we joined a path along a man made canal I turned my back to look which way to go & just behind me were 3 alligators sunning themselves!!

    We had planned to get up at 8:00 but it was so noisy that we were up much earlier. We got dressed and went to breakfast. We were in the last group getting off the ship as our flight times were later in the day. So Erin surfed the Internet and found Jungle Island as a place to spend our last day together.
