Not a whole lot to share for today. We both went to work for most of the day and got on the road about 5 PM for a 4 hour drive to Thomasville, GA, where we spent the night with some friends. We had not seen the NeSmith's in a couple years so it was great to spend some time with them even though it was short. It's incredible how fast kids can start playing with other kids they've never met and act like they've known each other for years in no time at all.

Quite an uneventful day of driving up I75 with tons of truck traffic and not feeling quite up to speed (tiny touch of a cold). We made it to Tifton, GA and found a KOA. As we pulled into our campsite the skies opened with a deluge of rain, thunder and lightening. Bob and Meatball got out; Bob set up the RV and took Meatball for a much needed walk. Neither seemed to mind the rain. I made dinner and had a glass of wine. Nice evening of cable TV and ongoing ...
... day. We really liked having groceries at the house and our own pool. Here is the house we stayed at. We loved it.
Some highlights of this trip included Tyler riding Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. I finally made it back on Rockin' Roller Coaster and it made me feel old. I had to take 2 advil after. Ha! Caden continues to love Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin and Dumbo ...
... east to Savannah for four days. Taking a city trolley on-and-off bus tour, the Ships of the Sea Museum and the 8th Air Force Museum (my Dad was in the 8th in England during WWII...ought to be interesting for him to see our photos.
That's it ! I hope to be more consistent with the blog posts this trip.

... Atlanta at 1500h in the afternoon was a rush, 6 lanes each way, hammer down. I, however, was cruisin' serenely in my noise cancelled, lightly traffic'ed car pool lane known as the HOV, high occupancy vehicle. You only need 2 people (including driver) to be allowed in this lane (Motorcycles are OK too) and there was seriously a 500 to 1 ratio of cars using the main lanes vs the car pool lane.
