... was a lovely sparklingly wine based on a Prosecco type which was delicious. As it was our wedding anniversary coming up, Karen very kindly bought us a bottle to have on Saturday. ... spent an hour or so looking around the illuminated gardens, but to be honest they weren’t illuminated enough so we could barely see anything.
We got into our car and joined the queue of traffic leaving the gardens (we were hoping that staying an hour after the fireworks would have meant there was no queue….we think everyone else had the same idea!). We got back knackered just before midnight.
