          ... he came out with the guest book for me to sign and a pamphlet and offered a tour. Needless to say I was absolutely blown away by this place. There was "Boathenge", "Truckhenge", a 30-acre lake for fishing, old school busses, "bottle gardens", and just about everything else you could imagine. It was amazing.           ... hills were fairly soothing. Also there are tons of wind farms in the fields along the way so yay for renewable energy! If Kansas can do it, so can you! On my way to Colorado Springs, Denver, before finally meeting up with relatives Paul and Bonnie Galloway in Elizabeth, Colorado today. Until then!

          ... than 4 cowboys out of ten scored in any one event. The mutton busting was exciting. You take a sheep and put a small child (children ages five to seven who weighed less than 55 pounds could apply) and then they try to stay on as long as they can, usually less the 6 seconds.

          Saturday we went to town to see the great long horn cattle drive. Later we plan to go by the casino for dinner and then finish the night with a concert on the lawn in town.

          I feel refreshed! Ready for more of Kansas. Atwood is a cute little town. A man in St Francis told me of a park next to Atwood lake that has camping. When I got there, it wasn't clear where/if I needed to pay, so I just set up right in the grass by the lake. In that situation, I figure the workers will come talk to me if they want money. The lake is really pretty. It's surrounded by old giant trees, and a sidewalk wraps around the whole thing. I walked it in about in hour. It ...
