    ... hills were fairly soothing. Also there are tons of wind farms in the fields along the way so yay for renewable energy! If Kansas can do it, so can you! On my way to Colorado Springs, Denver, before finally meeting up with relatives Paul and Bonnie Galloway in Elizabeth, Colorado today. Until then!

    ... 4 cowboys out of ten scored in any one event. The mutton busting was exciting. You take a sheep and put a small child ( children ages five to seven who weighed less than 55 pounds could apply) and then they try to stay on as long as they can, usually less the 6 seconds.

    Saturday we went to town to see the great long horn cattle drive. Latter we plan to go by the casino for dinner and then finish the night with a concert on the lawn in town.

    ... nice. The wind was blowing the deer flies away and rustling all the leaves. The fish kept flopping up to eat bugs on the surface of the water. The lake prohibited swimming, but I put my legs in anyway just for a bit. It seems like a habit that I check out the historic part of downtowns in every city.     The ticks were up with the sun this morning. I left camp at 6:15AM after just cramming everything in a temporary spot in my panniers. I pushed my bike up the tick infested hill and discovered a flat tire. I was able to inflate it, and I rode to the truck stop a mile up to debug and sort my gear. My flat was due to a defective tube.     ... where I prepared a quick lunch in the rig. Then we went inside and picked up a few supplies. Laura indicated that where we will be camping in South Fork is not exactly a hot bed of grocery and/or supply stores!
