... man-made lake. It didn't take her long to stretch out and totally relax.
Just after climbing in bed, another RVer pulled in to the empty spot beside us. Our killer Chihuahua is very protective of us and wherever we are and let them know she was on duty. It took a little while to get to sleep, but that's all part of the great outdoors and camping experience. Up at 6 am, 42 degrees and bacon and eggs are on the menu.

... time.......So here is another funny thing here we are in the same place as last year and guess what we are watching SURVIVOR.....(27th seasons). Another cool thing was we passed alot of NHRA race haulers heading to Texas for the race this weekend...brought back alot of memories (good and bad)......well must go watch survivor....so CYA down the ...
... missed some major items that will bite us. Ride up was great, with good temps (90's) and very good roads. Came up MS 302 to US 72 to MS 7/ TN 18 and then to TN 100 and over yo 22A and 22 to PCRV Park. Managed to pick up a BBQ Joint for the Smoke Chasing Grand Tour at Jacks Creek ( HOO-HAH). Plan tomorrow is to head as due North as possible in order to get to Duluth by Thursday PM and the Aerostich ...
... Memphis as we crossed the Mississippi including pyramid building which I believe is home to their NBA team. Had two unpleasant surprises in Memphis when I40 went to single lane for a brief time. Had a few nasty comments for TN DOT. Must be only one lane interstate in the entire country.
Arrived Jackson tired and weary after about 950 miles past two days. ...
Vacation is over, we are heading home. I don't know what to say, but we drove from South Dakota, saw Iowa, Missouri, Tennessee. Maybe more or less. We stayed the night in Jackson, Tennessee, or nearby anyway. We found a cheap hotel because the rain has started. They are having flooding problems from Tenn to Ga.
Other than that, not a whole lot to speak ...
