... it was time to head back to the hotel, but not before first walking back through Cars Land. It looks amazing at night with all the lights on. That was the end of the theme parks, well for the next four days anyway. The following day was the start of 'Star Wars Celebration Anaheim' (SWCA). Yippee!! ... the lack of 'service', unlike the Americans who have fantastic service, when buying something here. Though, it's always a great feeling coming back home to familiar things and places!
We arrived back to our home just after midday, our holiday coming to an end. All in all, it was a fantastic holiday, experiencing different kinds of things and seeing places that we have only seen on TV.
And that folks, was our trip to Hawaii and LA for December 2014! ...
... 3rd Street on our way back to catch our bus. Here were the normal shops like Sephora, Nordstrom, Old Navy etc.
We were back on the bus at 5pm. At this time it was getting dark. From Santa Monica we were driven down to Venice Beach, where it has become quite a rough area with lots of graffiti and there were bars on windows of most of the homes. At one point we drove by a restaurant called Cows End. Apparently this is actually owned by Rachel Hunter! ...
