... Another picture perfect day.

It is Autumn now and 50 degrees C this morning- big change from the 80's and 90's in Florida. We were on our way South from Lexington- a 90 minute trip by car for the weekend at the houseboat belonging to Deb and Junior and their 80 ft of luxury on the water.Lake Laurel with its cliff lined shores and quiet coves was our destination .

... Walmart. Rock City is a privately owned attraction placed atop a Georgia mountain called Lookout. From there you can see seven states. It was built by a husband and wife named Carter as a botanical garden. It took about four years to get going. The maze of rocks formed streets and lanes, but were modified over time with concrete and masonry imported to the area. We arrived in Edmonton, KY Friday afternoon. Did a little harvesting of cukes, maters, and blueberries with Mike's host family. We met their mob of sheep and had many conversations about shopping. (Apparently whenever the sheep are moved to a new location the host yelled out something in german that sounded like shopping. So whenever we would yell 'shopping' at the sheep they would bleat back.)
