    ... t be tempted to buy anything for himself. And as we were walking back to meet the taxi driver, I saw a stylized oil painting of the Greek Islands that I fell in love with. Philip thought it was beautiful too, and we decided it was the perfect anniversary gift to each other.

    And when we got back to our room, Trish, Rex and Tony had arranged a tres joile bouquet of colourful flowers on our coffee table. Very spoiled ...

    Today started off perfectly with the ability to sleep in after yesterday's long trek. Breakfast at Highland Bakery one block away was delicious and put us right across the street from the MARTA station where we caught a train down to Centennial Park.

    Today was the long travel day to start the trip, dedicated to getting as close to the East Coast as we could in one day. We covered 840 miles as we traveled out of Texas and then across Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and then into Georgia.
