... to be the theme of the weekend as even Wes Freed's poster has' HeAthens Homecoming' as the title. The band loves their fans and quite obviously are in awe of those willing to travel for their music.
I personally had a surprise mid-set as they kicked into The Night GG Allin Came To Town and songs like Uncle Frank, Ghost To Most and Let There Be Rock did what they intended - The place was alive with fans and the band was loving every second of it.
Friday was a very strange day... we had breakfast at Weaver D's (the fried chicken was out of this world), but on leaving there we encountered Matt from the DBT crew who told us that sad news that Craig Lieske had passed away after the show the night before.
Craig was the band's merchandise guy, and the link between the fans and the band. He always took time to speak with anyone, and showed genuine interest in them and what they had to say, was ...

We freshened up and ventured out to find Flickers to get food, see Craig's band Echo Canyon and to meet and greet fellow fans.
Food was had at a diner called Clocked. There were old school sci fi film posters plastered on the walls and a mushroom and Swiss burger on the menu; full of win.
