    We were advised to try and get some sleep as our wake up call was to be 3am! The train finally stopped at Salt Lake city more like 4am. Then luckily I managed to find a luggage cart, and the kind station master rang a large taxi for us.
    By the time we arrived at the hostel, we were pooped tp say the least. We felt so sorry for the guy who had to wake and let us in.

    ... and lots of desert animals. It was great exercise and perfect cloudy weather to walk outside for 1 1 1/2 miles. After having a fantastic BBQ dinner at local joint we went back to Carlsbad Cavern to witness "bat flight" at dusk. Yet again another wondrous experience to see 200,000 bats fly out of their cave to load up on their dinner and to get food for babies just hanging around in cave for their daily food ...
