4100 miles so far.

Today was exit day from New Mexico, headed for Lubbock tonight, then on to Fort Worth tomorrow. We saw some interesting sights. Major gift shop at Cline Corners, NM (for those of you who driven I-95 in South Carolina, think South of the Border, only much smaller) for some Route 66 memorabilia. Then, got off I-40 in Santa Rosa, NM to see a bit of Route 66. Then, off ...

Who knows maybe they will have lots of propane heaters scattered ...

The neatest displayed windmill was one like the earliest one built in what is now the US. It was built in 1621 on the Flowerdew Hundred Plantation in VA.
