      I had thought my last entry was the end of this story, but it is not to be. Michele had a surprise for me, an early birthday celebration. Lunch at Giada's in Las Vegas.       ... from 15 stories high at 60 mph / 96 kph!! Food at Six Flags like all theme parks - fried but huge! We had fried cheese, fried chicken, fried onion rings and fried chips. Delicious. My favourite was my desert - funnel cake. It was like fried dough - doughnut with cream ice cream chocolate sauce and icing sugar.       ... based on the real Venice with water canals that worked on the tide system. The problem here was not all the canals worked and the water didn’t flow through them properly. They ended up shutting down a lot of the canals but there is still 6 -7 that get used on a daily basis.
