Our final day is spent at Universal Studios. A very hot day approx 33 degrees. We start with the very interesting Studio tour, then the Simpsons ride. Then it is time for the Waterworld show and the Special Effects show. Then down to the lower lot for more rides: Jurassic Park a rafting trip where everyone definitely gets wet. ... Beach. I had a go climbing a rope on Muscle Beach where Arnie apparently used to go and was surprised that I can still do it.
Once we reached Venice the atmosphere was a bit more bohemian and the vibe decent, but we soon head inland to some road that was supposed to be good with independent shops etc. It wasnt good and we wish we hadn't bothered as Venice Beach was much more interesting. Oh well.
Took a while to find the right corner to catch the bus, but ...
