      The morning of New Years Eve, we jumped in the car with Sasha and set out to see some more of Connecticut. We saw adorable town after adorable town, and had lunch at an old fashioned general store near Goshen. We drove through Cornwall, a perfect little town with a 200 year old covered bridge. The day trip ended with a hike to the top of a beautiful hill, where we were able to document the last day of the year with justice. ...

      ... The train ride north to Port Chester from New York was around 45 minutes from Grand Central station. It's a classic suburban town outside a major city hub. Gritty, with a variety of convenience stores, cinemas, bottle shops, Mexican restaurants and of course, this amazing old theatre.

      Inside the theatre was gorgeous. Dad was walking around and chatting to one of the security guys that was telling us that it had been neglected for more than 20 years and finally opened ...

      ... was called the "equipment challenge".... in this task we had to get into groups and put up all the equipment as fast as wen can then put it bk down again.......... so we had to put up an easy up tent, a volleyball net, and a zip goal as fast as we can......... we didn't win but everyone did this with ease so we were set free......
