      I had planned to cross at St Stephen so I could pass by the chocolate factory, but the road actually goes directly to the new crossing and I did not realize I had to take the exit.

      Highway 9 was open and clear. The view of the wild blueberry fields in the fall is quite beautiful as all the plants turn bright red.

      I drove almost 1,000 Km's today and when I stopped, the ground kept moving.

      I had a nice supper of salmon, broccoli ...

      ... after we prompted him to say something about the destruction or horror he witnessed, he just said that seeing the skyscrapers in Manila (capitol of the Philippines) bent over and destroyed was "cool to see." Who reacts to the devastation of an entire city with intrigue and curiosity? This man.

      ... I knew I deserved. And lastly I hiked the hills of Cinque Terre, taking in the picturesque scenery around me, and knowing that it might be the most beautiful place I would ever see.
