... Bay near Ogden, UT. This is a state camp ground and it was really nice and quite. It is situated on a reservoir and had full connections for the TT. By the time we got setup we laid low and had a small pizza and watch some TV. Took a walk to the waters edge and watched the birds. We were in bed early and ready to roll in the morning.

We had a beautiful drive from Flaming Gorge to the Great Salt Lake. It was only about 185 miles and we took state roads for a lot of the way.

We arrived at a campground by the lake around 11:30 and was told that we could not check in until 3:00. She suggested that we visit the bird reserve about 10 miles up the coast. We probably would not have stumbled upon ...

We left the KOA camp at 7:15 am. The last landmark we noted in Dillon was the stately building of University of Montana Western - it seemed out of place in this small town. As we passed Clark Canyon Reservoir, we noticed a huge bald eagle sitting quite nonchalantly on a fence post. When we passed Dubois, we saw a sign pointing to Crators of the Moon Lava Field which was formed some 15,000 to 20,000 years ago and still had active forces ...
