      We went to an albatross centre and had a tour up to the hide and in front of us was five Southern royal albatross sitting on there nests. There were some juveniles flying about and trying to find a mate. We sat there for a while but not long enough watching the albatross swooping around and sometimes coming very close.       ... pick up our hire car for the journey being a new brown KIA CERATO..with GPS (awesome!). Great car, just not a big enough boot to contain our luggage. Last year we had 20kg backpacks for over 6 months, this year it was 23kg for 10 nights..       ... of the city below. No one was home yet, so we decided to walk to a restaurant that was recommended to us at the bottom of the hill. The restaurant was called "Elevate" and we enjoyed our last NZ dinner of pizza and seafood chowder.

      We walked back up the hill to Andrew's house (some good exercise), and met Andrew, Nic and Jill there. We chatted awhile before heading to our room to begin getting ready for our flights home.
