The Maori tribe offers scholarships to members of the tribe, teaching the participants to be skilled wood and stone carvers and artisans weaving fabric from flax plants.     My second sabbatical started off with a quick road trip to Boise in my new car, which made the trip much more enjoyable. It was cut short due to some schedule changes with the Re-Pipe at my condo but...that's a different entry.
