Freitagmorgen noch in Hannover mit dem Taxi zum Flughafen gefahren, am fr�hen Abend "schon" in Phoenix, Arizona bei Walmart verlaufen.
Es hat alles super geklappt. Fl�ge waren halbwegs p�nktlich, bis auf den Abflug in Washington, weil die Flight Attendants nicht auffindbar waren!!! Aber warum beschweren? Wir sind mit 20 Min Versp�tung …

Drove to Phoenix. Checked into Best Western by airport (no reservations). Got there by 11ish. 5/20 - Drove to Champlin Fighter Museum (old airplanes) in Mesa, AZ. Drove thru Tempe. After, drove to Scottsdale & went to a nice mall. Later on that night went to Planet Hollywood in Phoenix for dinner. Fun. Home tomorrow.

An early flight (0640) to Phoenix via Denver arriving 0955. We stay at the Best Western Airport Inn ($69). In the afternoon we drive to Taliesin West, the home of Frank Lloyd Wright. Interesting place, lots of arts / crafts, strange architecture, and his own underground cinema. Temperature outside is 100F and I realise that this is already hotter than any UK records.

I'm coming home.

Dropped the car off in Phoenix after a five hour drive, caught the shuttle bus to the departures terminal and thought out my options. I'm done basically, that's it, end of the line on the travelling.
