... took Izzie over to the pool for a swim. Mom and Dad bought her a little inflatable so she enjoyed sitting in the water and splashing about. When we got back, Dave made an excellent dinner. Dave is quite a good cook. By the time dinner was over, Izzie was ready for bed so the kids headed back to the condo. About this time, the hockey game started. I love it when the stars align and the Black Hawks win.

... it worked. Izzie went back to sleep and woke up at 7:30. She was a perfect angel during the night. She woke up with a smile on her face. Izzie had a great breakfast of formula, raspberries, and bananas. After breakfast we took Izzie for a walk around the condo. We stopped at the swing for a couple of minutes.
We met up with Lisa and Dave at about 10:00am. Again, it was a perfect night with Izzie.

... Broil and Lisa and Sheila had hamburgers over the fire. We had oven fried potatoes and fresh pineapple. Dessert was a chocolate cake in a coffee cup - a camping specialty of Sheila.
By the end of dinner, Izzie was getting tired so the kids headed back to their condo.

... a few minutes, it was Grandma that has the knack of laying Izzie down and putting her to sleep. So while Sheila took care of Izzie, I took a nap as well.
We finished the day with dinner at a local restaurant. Izzie is very close to walking on her own so it was fun walking with her in the restaurant.

... surprised to find that the mashed potatoes were instant - not good for Iowa.
Once we reached Spirit Lake, we set up our coach at Cutty's Okoboji Resort Club. Then we headed to Village West to meet with the kids. We got them checked in and then spent some quality time with Izzie. We found out that she is now crawling and is close to walking on her own. She is also starting to form words like Mama and Dada. I will spend some time this week working on her ...
