We are doing a non-simultaneous home exchange, and they will stay at my home the 1st 2 weeks in Dec. So I have been staying in their lovely TH the past week, and will be ...

Mom & Joe had given us a hot air balloon ride as a gift for our engagement, and we were excited to see the mountains from a different vantage point. After several run ins and cancellations due to bad weather, we were starting to get worried that it might not happen and the 6/2 date was our last shot. We were in luck, as it was a go!

We left for Winter Park bright and early to be sure to make our 6AM flight time. Brendan's ...

... kitty to pat along the way - always a good sign!

Not minding much, we took the opportunity to rest and catch up on the ill-fated blog.. yeah, this thing. It's becoming more of a chore, but we are persevering with it as much as possible. Something to look back on in 30 years to remind us that we actually did interesting things once (albeit, not in Boulder... :)

Up the next day and off we went toward Rocky Mountains National Park where some walkies awaited us!
