... a banana suit, a skirt and my favourite was a Johnny Cash fan - black shirt, trousers, black cowboy hat and snow boots. He looked great! People just seemed to wear whatever they normally wore with ski boots. As Rhiannon said by text 'Welcome to America!'.
On the way home, we stopped to look at the Continental Divide - where the water one side of the sign flows to the Atlantic and the other to the Pacific. Quite cool!

... home so we thought "What the Hell", let's join the A Group that were going to do the Old Stage Rd. climb. We left the brewery and headed out on the bike path and a short time later we crossed Broadway and began the climb. It didn't take very long to figure out that something wasn't feeling quite right. ... Park is beautiful at ground level, but rising high above was a completely different experience. It was shocking how quiet it was, with the exception of an occasional cow moo, a train, or a dog barking. Seeing devil's thumb at eye level, views of grand lake, the ski resort, and Steamboat out in the distance was quite spectacular.

In the mean time, I'm not sure what else to write about... :) I will be exploring the national parks of Colorado and Utah over the next week, seeing a friend in Park City, and then heading back to Oregon!
