We slept in late and my friend Steve made us some pancakes for breakfast, and after stopping to fill up for ice we said our goodbyes and left. We drove for about 3 1/2 hours until we reached Buffalo Wyoming and we stopped there for gas and snacks. With the ice and soda we spent a total of 10 bucks. ... path!" Sure enough, five rams were very close to the path eating grass. Closer and closer we crept until they were not 15 meters from us and barely five from the path. It was so cool!!!! You could make out every detail on them, especially their big curly horns. Finally we decided that if we ventured any closer, we would be smashed into oblivion. Wile we were visiting with our cousin Judy from Thompson Falls. the weather report came in as cold with rain and possible snow. We decided that a tactical retreat was in our best interest. We got the camp busted and we were on our way by 4:45 The bed at the Big Sky motel felt really good. We had dinner at the Busy Bee cafe and found out we were on the front page of the Roundup Record .
