Historical Traveler Reviews Americas Best Value Inn & Suites / Hyannis

    A Satisfied Stay

    from

the best value is an exceptional facility. it's located right on main street, which made traveling around very easy. the room i stayed in was clean and comfortable. it's not the most fancy place in the cape but i was not even looking for that. i just needed a good and quiet place to sleep. oh yeah, try breakfast across the street, percy's place. it was awesome.

    THE ABSOLUT BEST

    from

i resently stayed at the best value inn in hyannis on a small vaction from ancorage alaska. The hotel exceeded my expectation with unbelievable servie, clean pools, both indoor and outdoor and HEATEd. the best part was that the staff was alway kind and very helpful with directions. I was going to go to a fancy restaurant one night, so the front desk agent scheduled reservations for me. The service was overall outstanding and the rooms were immaclate. i suggest this to EVERYONE!

Dirty rooms, dirty pool, and noisy neighbors

    from

I stayed at this place recently and it was nasty. The carpet made my socks filthy within minutes and the couple next door was fighting all week. The pool did not appear to be all that clean. Location is really the only reason to pick this hotel. But other hotels are just as convenient, so why bother? I wish I had discovered this website only earlier.

    Affordable and convenient

    from

The place was affordable and the location was great. I wasn't expecting much so I was pleasantly surprised by the Inn. The staff was friendly and the pools were open and clean the entire weekend we spent there. The room wasn't perfectly clean but not as bad as I thought it would be after reading some of the reviews. I would recommend this place.

    Hated it!!!!

    from

I choose this inn, because the price was moderate and afrodable, and the "amenities" that the web page listed, convinced me. When I got there, it was awful! The rooms were smelly and dirty, I had to be moved to another room becasue the one they gave us was really disgusting! The free continental breakfast is just a coffe pot and a few donuts in a tray served in the reception. The pools, were filthy and closed most of the times, and the personnel, was rude and not helpful at all. In one word, DO NOT CHOOSE THIS INN !!! It will ruin your vacation, as it almost did mine!!!

    The Perfect Location

    from

I recently took a mini-vacation with my wife. We came across a great deal at the Best Value Inn in Hyannis, MA. Not only was the room rate suitable for our budget, the location of the hotel was ideal. Just a short walk to all the Main Street restaurants and the ferry where we took a side trip to the Vineyard. Another thing, the King sized room where we stayed was newly renovated and proved to exceed our expectations. A nice family oriented business and staff was really helpful with directions. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good room at an affordable price. I'll be going back next year for sure!!!

    Great Deal!

    from

I recently stayed at this Best Value Inn with some friends over a weekend. Not only was their rates great, their services and rooms were over my expectations for the price we paid. I would definitely recommend this Best Value Inn to any one who is looking for great service and rooms at an affordable price.

    The Pits

    from

i thought this palce was the pits. i stayed with friends and we were treated disgracefully. we couldn't stay in our room for a couple of gats without being disturbed by the staff. the place was filthy.

    The Worst!!!!

    from

Best Value Inn is the worst place I have ever been to that has the audacity to call itself a scenic hotel. Upon arrival we were given a key to "our room". When we walked in we were appalled to find it dilapidated and totally filthy. You could not even tell what the color of the carpet was suppose to be. We refused to stay there despite managements insistance on charging us. It was in such poor condition, that we filed a report with the health department.

    Disgusted

    from

Where do I begin? This place had by far the worst accommodations I have ever seen. The rooms were filthy, the windows had been painted shut, and the bathroom's ventilation was so poor, I felt like I was in a steam room.

The staff was rude. The looks they gave you made you feel as if you were doing something wrong by staying there. The sad part is, they hit the nail on the head. But they're going to have to hit a few more nails before that place is ever up to anyone's standards. What a terrible experience!!!

John and I had an excellent meal at the Sea Shanty---lobster bisque for me, clam chowder for John and a seafood platter to share. I found a Martha's Vineyard T shirt I liked, purchased a few post cards and John found a wine store.
